Easter

We had a great visit with Matt, Christie and kids. This year it was a little colder than last so that made our annual Easter fire a little bit chilly but still so fun!

The kids did lots of playing while the grown-ups did lots of house stuff. We put in a clofice in our family room that I have to admit is kind of amazing. We did a TON of organizing and unpacking. Christie... you are a machine! I love you!

Project Life 2013 | Week 13

Palm Sunday. Also, Lily's 8th birthday!

We are going to California this summer to visit family and attend Josh and Virginia's wedding. All four of the kids are going to be in it. They are all really excited!

After all of our company headed out we went to a pottery painting place in town for Lily's birthday party. She had a lot of fun, painting and repainting her vase...

Everyone's masterpieces. I can't wait to see them once they are fired.

Presents.

Cake.

I took cupcakes to school for her birthday too. You are welcome, parents of overly sugared children! Glad I could be of service. :)

Lily's Party

These are all a mish-mosh of pictures from the day. We had a lot of fun!

I can't believe how old she is getting. It hits me every once and awhile that she is becoming quite the little lady. Happy birthday Lily!

Project Life 2013 | Week 12

Happy St Patricks Day! We had plans to do corned beef and cabbage but got invited to a last minute birthday party. Hannah was so excited. She never gets to go to birthday parties so it made her day that she got invited. :)

My cousin Dave Garrett came to do a Christ in the Passover at our church. It was so great! I don't think I have ever seen it done in English so I learned a lot. The kids had a total blast. Lily was so excited/shy/nervous about having a role in it.

Dinner with family. I am so thankful for all these people!

Lenten service. The kids have been doing remarkably well for how many services they have been going to recently.

We went out with some friends to celebrate my birthday. I have learned that while I am not what you would call "good" at shuffleboard, I really enjoy it.

So fun! On the 23rd we got an impromptu visit from Virginia, Monica, Josh and some of Josh's family. We were so happy that they were able to stay with us. The kids loved having some new people to play non-stop with. They were such good sports.
